CBSé begins its activities in 1978 in San Francisco, Province of Cordoba, when the founders decide to incorporate the mountain herbs of the sweet and digestive type, introducing in the market a new product: the first Mix Yerba Mate. This initiative was originated in the observation of the customs of the consumers, who very frequent add to their Yerba Mate, herbs of the medicinal type and aromatics before they drink their Mate. They saw this opportunity to develop a new product according to the consumer’s customs. Started as an individual family company in a garage of 50m2 as a factory and a production storage, to became into an Industrial Plant of 10.000m2 in Santa Fe,

CBSé comienza sus actividades en el año 1978 en la localidad de San Francisco, Provincia de Córdoba, cuando los fundadores deciden incorporar a la yerba mate hierbas serranas del tipo dulce y digestivas, introduciendo en el mercado un novedoso producto: la primera Yerba Mate Compuesta. Esta iniciativa se originó en la observación de las costumbres de los consumidores, sobretodo en el interior del país, donde es muy frecuente encontrar quienes gustan de agregar hierbas del tipo medicinal y aromáticas al mate. Esta insatisfacción registrada en el mercado fue causal de la necesidad de responder con un producto a la medida de cada consumidor. Comenzó siendo una empresa familiar individual, en un garage de 50 m2 como fábrica y depósito de producción, para llegar a la actualidad con una Planta industrial y Administración en Frontera (Santa Fe) de 10.000 m2. Luego de varios años de estudios, pruebas de sabor y rigurosos controles de calidad, la firma lanza a fines del año 1997 las nuevas yerbas saborizadas atrayendo nuevos consumidores y creando un nuevo segmento en yerba mate.
