A stunning  example of artisan craftsmanship!  This egg shaped mate has been painstakingly carved in Palo Santo wood in the shape of an egg.  The opening in the top is cut in a forty five degree angle adding the perfect accent to an already beautiful piece.  The egg rests on a perfectly symmetrical lathe turned Palo Santo wood base.  Both the egg and base are polished to a deep natural wood lusture.  Palo Santo is a unique extremely hard wood grown in the Chaco region of Paraguay. Known for its pleasant aromatic scent, Palo Santo is used for its durability as well as its superior thermal qualities. Aprox. Dimensions: Height 4", Diameter top 1.25".

Nice, but broken February 12, 2008

I bought this Mate in January. It looks nice, but the one I received is cracked and leaks, and GoYerbamate has not responded to my wish to exchange it in nearly two weeks. They are unavailable by telephone and eMail and maybe approaching them through a lawyer is the only way to make them take note of my issue.
