Taragüí sin palo has been my favorite flavor for decades. It's rich, strong, and neutral enough to work with many added flavors. Because it's a stronger leaf, it may need a bit more sugar. It works well with fruit, especially served inside a grapefruit. Maybe that's why Taragüí uses it as the base for so many of their delicious fruit blend flavors. If you can only take one brand of mate while stranded on a desert island, this is it.
