Having now tried the Premium Brazilian maté, I have to say that I wish that the Paraguayan Itapua Organic Yerba Mate was sticking around. As an daily consumer of both this and a chimarrão-style Brazilian mate from a different brand, I would say that compared to this product, the Itapua Premium Brazilian has a greener, leafier, chlorophyll flavor over the plain maté. Not that the flavor of the Brazilian is bad, by any stretch, it's just different. I appreciate them both, but the Brazilian takes some getting-used-to. This mate, being affordable, organic, unsmoked, and without stems, was really a great product and I hope that Itapua will make it available again sometime in the future.
