CBSe Grapefruit Yerba Mate 500 g (1.1 lbs)

I really like grapefruit and this mate is excellent for that flavor. I like it tart but a little stevia makes it delicious too.

I was doubtful that I would enjoy the grapefruit flavor, after all I don't really like grapefruit. I tried it anyway. I love it even more than the lemon!

I have been drinking mate and terere for almost 14 years now and this has always been my top favorite.

Let me start by admitting that I was introduced to Yerba Mate by trying orange-flavored Yerba Mate, so I have a preference for distinctive flavors. With that in mind, I was looking forward to the CBSe grapefruit variety. The flavor is very mild, with subtle undertones of grapefruit - so you know there is some flavor there, but can't quite pin it down. For me, it was too subtle - I prefer the ones with real pieces of citrus peel for more flavor. However, if you just would like a hint of flavor, this may be to your tastes.
