Canarias Special Edition Yerba Mate 1 kg (2.2 lbs)

Canarias has been my favorite yerba for decades and I was pleased to see the special edition for sale here as I’d never been able to try it. This yerba has the same depth and intensity as regular Canarias but is substantially less bitter, presumably due to extra aging. Oddly enough, I do not drink alcohol now but used to, and find comparisons to liquor an easy way to describe yerba. Consider regular Canarias to be akin to Johnnie Walker Black Label - high quality and near perfect. This special edition is like Blue Label - the same spirit but far smoother. So not necessarily better, just smoother and different. I’ll purchase both the yellow and green bags from now on. Highly recommended.

If you love the traditional yellow bag Canarias, you will love the Special Edition even more! The flavor is much deeper and smoother and yields such a nice flavor it's hard for me to go back to the yellow bag.

Tried a sample of this brand, and was thoroughly impressed! Rich but smooth, refreshing flavor. I am definitely ordering a full bag of this on my next order.
