La Merced De Monte Yerba Mate 500 g (1.1 lbs)

This mate is amargo in the best way -- it's bold and thick and always makes my day. I've tried many others but keep coming back to this one.

I find this one with a taste similar to Yerba Union (Suave) original, though with a pleasant (less subtle) bitterness and a more homogeneous grind (molienda). To my taste, it is a couple of notches better than La Merced de Campo.

The more I drink mate, the more my tastes are going for a stronger, more intense flavor. Less and less I like the soft or mellow flavors. De Monte has a wonderful, full flavor, and easily lasts me through a full liter of water. If you want a stronger yerba, I highly recommend this.

Love this. A bit stronger, more robust, and bitter than De Campo. Made for hardy mountain people. Excellent flavor and grind.
