This is a very mild tasting, easy to drink mate. I find the citrus flavor doesn’t work as well as with other flavored mate’s I have tried in the past. While it doesn’t taste bad, it’s more of a distraction than an enhancement of the overall flavor for me. When I saw “roasted mate extract” in the ingredients list I was hopeful this product would provide an extra caffeine kick, but found it to provide less energy boost than most traditional varieties offer.

Figured I'd try this with the summer months coming fast for terere. The large leaf cut and no dust works perfectly. The flavor to me is distinctly pink grapefruit compared to orange, lime, lemon, etc. I really like the stuff.

This is a nice smooth blend with a hint of citrus, not strong. The true test is I'm reordering.

This citrous flavor tastes great even with the stems!
