If you are expecting mate flavor, you will be surprised when you take your first sip of this because the aça flavor in conjunction with the other adjuncts really cover up the normal flavor of yerba. It's still a tasty, fulfilling drink that is rejuvenating, but it lacks the grassy, smoky flavors that I love.

I read all the positive reviews and I decided to place an order as my bday gift to me recently but honestly, I've come to conclude that this blend is not for me. Maybe it's the fruity tones or the sweet scents but it actually gave me a headache. As healthy as it is due to its long list of healthy ingredients, I think I'm going to stick to the basics, with powder and plenty of stems (isn't that where the vitamins are anyway?!?). Because I didn't want my purchase to go to waste, I still opted to "bite the bullet" (bombilla, actually) and continue to drink it anyway. I hope I dont hurt anyone's feelings but thank you goyerbamate for the opportunity and more importantly for supporting all the farmers who grow our beloved mate. Pura vida!

My favorite thing about this tea is the nice smooth long lasting energy boost it provides. I like that it has no dust and that it doesn’t get bitter. I am not a huge fan of the weird Açaí flavor, it’s really overpowering to the point that it tastes artificial. I recommend mixing it 50/50 with an unflavored variety when you are having trouble getting moving in the morning or want a little extra energy and focus.

The first sip was strong and interesting but refilling made it too strong. Definitely not for the traditional style.
