Romance Especial Yerba Mate 1 kg (2.2 lbs)

I have been looking forward to trying this Yerba Mate (they have been trying to find an importer for this one for a while no?). I heard about this mate two years ago and how wonderful it is. I have to say it is a very smooth and has its own unique profile. Proper temperature is key on this one -- too hot and you lose some of the more complex and delicate notes. Not hot enough and... it just does not pop/sing like it does with the Goldilocks temp water. Not overpoweringly astringent (like I said, smooth). I will be ordering more when I run out. Great art work on the packaging.

Romance Especial exhibits all the qualities of the original Yerba Mate Romance, i.e., a balanced blend of smokiness and bitterness yet, one notch higher in taste. Great product! Interestingly, I noticed that, as in the case of Rosamonte Especial, the package is sealed tight with the traditional top carton divider and the brand sticker. This packaging feature has been traditionally used to immobilize the content and avoid segregation between finer and coarser ground leaves during transportation to the consumers.
