Stainless Steel Mate (8 oz) with Stainless Steel Bombilla

I bought this to use at work as it is simple easy to clean. Works great.

I upgraded to this stainless steel mate after using the most basic gourd one for several months. The only thing I miss about the gourd was that the interior was a rougher texture, which meant I could really wedge the bombilla into place. The interior of this one, being stainless steel, is smooth, which means the bombilla more rests in place and is then held by the weight of the yerba formed around it. Outside of that I've been loving every aspect of this thing. It's got a higher capacity than the basic gourd and is SIGNIFICANTLY easier to empty, rinse, clean, and care for. It's made the process of making yerba mate and the process of cleaning up and storing after both much easier, which makes me look forward to enjoying it that much more.

We love using this mate, keeps the water hot longer and has plenty of room to make longer-lasting mates.

If you're looking for something that's simple, affordable, and easy to clean, this is the way to go. I've been using this gourd set for about 4 months, haven't had any issues.
